Data Deletion

Your data is yours. Here's exactly how to ask us to delete it — from your TatvaCRM account and from any data we process through WhatsApp and Meta platforms.

1.Who This Page Is For

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that TatvaCRM (operated by Tatva Fintech Private Limited) holds about you. It applies to two groups:

  • Account holders — people who have signed up for a TatvaCRM account, where we are the data controller.
  • Contacts of a business — people whose details a TatvaCRM customer has stored in their CRM (including via WhatsApp). For this data the business is the controller and we are the processor — see Section 5.

2.What Data We Can Delete

When we delete your data, we mean all of it: your name and profile, email and phone number, the CRM records you created, your uploaded files, and the WhatsApp message history we've stored. If it's tied to your account or contact record, it goes.

3.How to Request Deletion

To ask us to delete your data, email support@tatvacrm.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. If you are asking on behalf of a contact, tell us the business name and the phone number or email to delete so we can locate the record.

We may ask you to confirm your identity first — it's the only way to be sure we're deleting your data and not someone else's.

4.WhatsApp and Meta Data Deletion

TatvaCRM integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta so that businesses can message their contacts. When you ask us to delete your data, that deletion also covers the message content and contact identifiers we have stored from those WhatsApp conversations within TatvaCRM.

One thing to be clear about: Meta runs WhatsApp independently and keeps its own records under its own policies. Deleting your data from TatvaCRM doesn't remove it from Meta's systems or from anyone's personal WhatsApp app. For that, you'll need to go through WhatsApp's and Meta's own data deletion process.

5.If a Business Stored Your Data

If your details are in a TatvaCRM customer's account because you are their contact, lead, or customer, that business controls the data and decides how long to keep it. The fastest route is to contact the business directly and ask them to delete your record.

You can still email us at support@tatvacrm.com and we'll pass your request to the business and help them act on it — that's our job as the data processor.

6.How Long It Takes

We acknowledge deletion requests within two business days and complete verified deletions within 30 days. Where data has been copied into encrypted backups, it is purged on our normal backup rotation within a further 60 days.

7.What We May Need to Keep

We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires it — for example, invoices and transaction records needed for tax and accounting, or records we must keep to resolve disputes or prevent fraud. We keep only what the law demands, for no longer than it demands, and delete it the moment that obligation ends.
